Help with Training my Thoroughbred!???

My horse Buzz is a 6 year old thoroughbred gelding. I've been getting back into working him, since he was off for a while. (he had strangles :'( not fun). I also just got him this summer so I haven't really had a good long ride on him yet since he's been off. I'm still trying to figure out all of his quirks and stuff! I'm still getting used to the fact that his stride is so much longer then horses i used to ride, so it feels like he's going fast when really he's not! I'm also a bit of nervous person, so sometimes he can feel it. (My recent fall didn't help my confidence either. I'm always worried he'll bolt again) I'm worried that my nerves will make me never be able to ride him confidently. I am 51 and used to have healthy skin, beautiful skin on my face, but now...?

I have been on hormone replacement therapy for about three years. My face is dry and flaky (not hideous looking), just tiny flakes. This shows up when I try to put on foundation, even after moisturizer. It depressing. Also, the colors of eye shadow I use to use look weird on me now. I have green eyes and brown hair - not much gray and I don't dye my hair, but I really am depressed about my skin's texture. The skin tone is sallow. It used to be rosy and pretty. I try to drink a gallon of water each day, as my doctor recommends, but that is awfully hard to do sometime. I put on makeup for the first time, in a long time, today, and the flakiness just made me so sad. I used to have a pretty face. I don't have many wrinkles, just really dry skin. Can anyone help? It is more for my self-esteem than anything. I see all these older, pretty ladies on television and they all still look so young and pretty. Wish I knew their secrets. Help. Any advice is appreciated. By the way, those foundations that say they are moisturizing don't seem to work on my face.

I don't know of any "famous" cases, but I can certainly share my thoughts on the subject. First, I definitely think that parents are responsible for their child's needs. After all, the parents brought those children into the world. I also think that teenagers should be held responsible for their mistakes. However, I also think that parents should be held responsible for the mistakes of their teenagers in certain respects. For example, if a teenager does damage to a third party, whether through damaging their car or stealing their belongings, the parents should be legally responsible to that third person. Although the teenager did the damage, the teenager is unlikely to have sufficient money or ets to remedy the damage. As to the parents versus an innocent third party, the parents should foot the bill. Finally, if a parent provides for their child responsibly, but the child breaks the law anyway, I think the child should be solely liable for their actions except to the extent that, as stated above, I think that the parent should be liable to remedy any damages sustained by a third party. However, if the parent acted responsibly, the parent should not be held criminally responsible for their delinquent teen.

Ear Piercing Infected? PLEASE HELP!?

Ok so about four weeks ago, I pierced my second hole myself. It was sanitized and everything and after it was done it didn't get infected or anything, it was perfectly fine. I put in my earrings that i had my first holes pierced with and everything was going great. They were sore for about a week or so, and then everything was fine. The only thing about the earrings I put in was the fact that when I tried to gets the backs off, they would get stuck to the ends of my earrings and pull on my holes, making it really painful. I decided tonight to quickly change them because I didn't want them getting stuck in my ears. When i finally got them out, they were bleeding a bit because i had to pull pretty hard on the earrings to get the backs off. When I was putting in earrings back into the hole, I realized all around that hole my skin was very firm and hard. It doesn't hurt at all, I just don't know if this is an infection or maybe just a little swollen from pulling on my holes so hard? And what should I do to fix this? Please try to suggest something that doesn't involve taking the earrings out.

well, i think it'd be better to see the first one, without the IMAX because the IMAX is really big, and those 3-d gles aren't covering your whole eyesight, so some of the movie is in 3-d, but some isn't. the difference is one is bigger, and costs more money because they put a fancy title on it!!

Should I purchase this furniture?

I am moving into a new unfurnished flat with underfloor heating throughout. Therefore, I am having to buy some new furniture and have found something I really like from Furniture Village. It's real acacia wood which is untreated and needs looking after because it's real wood and hand crafted. And the care instructions say that it should be kept away from heat sources. I asked at the shop about how my underfloor heating could affect the wood and they said that it should be fine because my floor has carpet. What can i do for my dog to help his coat/skin? Food besides dog food and a cheaper shampoo or conditioner?

What shampoo was it? The majority of shampoos the vet sells can be bought retail & usually for much cheaper. There also might be similar shampoo that isn't needed at a lower strength. I don't suggest using conditioner any longer. It can change the dog normal ph level of their skin & coat, cause pimples & end up drying out the coat. Can this pc be saved?

Brought home a brand new PC from The Wife's office. She had some malaware issue on one of her computers in her workgroup at her office, and I ume something similar found its way inside this new PC which we brought home. I'm not much of a pro so please bare with me, I want to break it down for you so it's clear. She had four or five pc's connected through a switch at her workplace, and her one PC was really acting up - it was the malaware. I came on this Yahoo Answers site, asked about that, and some very knowledgeable helpful people told me to go to malawarebytes.org or something and download free stuff and run some scans and that seemed to have taken care of the problem. Fast fwd a day or three and I take one of her workplace pc's (not the malaware one) home to replace her old home PC. Got it up and running, plugged on the router, cable modem, life is sweet, etc. Then next today, (today) the same problem seems to have popped up. This time it appears to be a different fake-security system trying to p itself off as legit - always the same thing though - "Your computer has a million worms and bugs on it, buy this now and fix it". I tried to navigate to malawarebytes.org with that PC but it always seems to stall - I'm still online but I can't go to that webpage. So I thought I'd restart and I got the blue screen of death instead, telling me in bold white characters to restart in Safe Mode to do something-something, dumping the cache, I forget - something about a cache or whatever, perhaps deleting something, I'm not sure. Prior to restarting I had already gone in Settings, Control Panel, Add/Delete Software and found something that looked like it was the malaware I wanted to get rid of and deleted that, but of course that didn't to do the trick, I was finding leftovers of that fake-antivirus everywhere. Now I have that blue screen still on, I'm in Safe Mode... what do I do? Her PC doesn't currently have an antivirus. She tells me (I just got home) that she managed to buy Norton Anitivirus online but I couldn't find it anywhere. She doesn't know about downloading and installing so I think she never installed it, if she even went so far as to buy it (she printed out the receipt, so....) just maybe downloaded it, but I couldn't find it in Program Files, which I ume is the default storage space for downloaded programs. SO: her pc's in Safe Mode right now, I can't go online with it this way apparently, and I got some serious sh!t happening in that PC. Now what? Thank you SO MUCH guys!!

Should I get an attorney for a DUI UNDER .08?

So I was pulled over 2 weeks ago for a DUI. My court date is coming up soon, and I have received my blood results-- which show I was UNDER the .08 limit. I was pulled over originally because i was slightly "swerving". I was driving my friend's car-- there is something wrong with it and the wheel is VERY sensitive. Anytime you touch it or switch lanes the car swerves slightly (I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with it). I can prove this in court by getting a simple diagnostic on the car. Macbook problem???????????

I have a macbook (not the pro, just a regular macbook) that I got in 2007. My mom was on a website and she wanted to close Safari for some reason so she tried to close it, but that "spinning wheel of misfortune" (as I like to call it) thing popped up as her cursor and she had to wait a while, so she just turned off the computer. My dad tried turning it on this morning, it turns on, but the screen is just white (like before the apple pops up when you turn it on normally) and you can hear these faint clicking noises. i have had those before when i was sick with a flu. My temperatures were really high and when i sat under a blanket. it didn't help much, but then later i felt really hot and sweaty and had to get out from under it. my doctor said that i would be better in a number of weeks, and i should stay warm even if i got heat flashes. if you are working you might try staying home and resting a few days, check your temperature, take NyQuil and sleep a lot.

But a friend told me that Hollister jeans have no crotch room at all and there's no "pinch room" on the waistband to pull them up since they're so low. My 3 wks old cant sleep, helppp?

ok so im starting to be concerned. my 3 wks old baby is up most of the day and most of the night. all the newborn i know of sleep a lot, mine doesnt. i make sure she is full and clean, i give her baths rock her feed her and she dozes off to sleep and as soon as i put her down she is up wailing. this is the case both for day time and night, i am exausted. but more concerned because newborns are supposed to sleep a lot, right? not mine though, she is up like 7-10 hours straight!!! is this normal? what could be going on? and how can i get her to stay asleep once i put her down so that she sleeps longer than half an hour. like for instance, today she took her last nap at 12pm and has been p since, it is now 7pm, the only other time she slept is like a half hour nap while i fed her, then i put her down and she woke up within 5 minutes. is this normal? please help me i am so stressed out and exausted all at once.

How does he sleep at night? I was just wondering because my 5 month old son has the same napping patterns as your son does. List of bad Calories anyone?

Ok, some of the best advice i have for going on a diet is just to stay away from mc donalds, lol. Try to go to a local market area that sells food and check how many calories that type of food (anything over 400 calories i try to stay away from) also I think fast places have some sort of piece of paper saying how many calories is in each meal (its there for mc donalds i know, but I don't know if its for other fast food places) ask them for that piece of paper, and they should be able to find it for you. : )

Should I take birth control pills?

It does wonders at regulating your period and that's definitely a good reason. I have mine down to I know the day of the week and and around the time I'm going to get it once I start my placebo pills. It also makes your periods shorter and lighter. These vehicles were OEM CNG vehicles. I am not sure if anyone has claimed tax credits for them. The 2002 vehicle was leased to the Salt Lake City organizing committee for use at the winter games, the 1999 was owned by the federal government and operated in California. Good or bad band formation?

well im in a band and im playing the rhythm and lead guitar parts and am also the lead vocalists. what we decided to do was this, during the intro/verses/choruses/bridge i would play the rhythm part so it is easuier for me to sing and my friend who is entirally on lead guitar would play the same thing as me and get mini solos. then once we get into the actual solo section we will trade off solos while the other person does the rhythm and then we will finish the song with another chourus or just end it with guitar. what dou guys think of this idea good?bad?is it even possible? and we wont do it for every single song some songs will be just rhythm no solos and others will be just solos no singing but ya u get the point

Probation officers dealing with pee shyness?

I was recently put on probation where i found out i was pretty pee shy. I had to take a UA right when after the meeting i had with my probation officer. He brought to the bathroom and stood there waiting for me to go. after a minute or 2 i said i couldn't go so he showed me the water jug and i started chugging water. i went back in but it still didn't happen. After about 3 trips i got a trickle out and he said he would work with that. Are there any probation officers that see this normally? It was extremely embarring and i tried numerous things while trying to go. I tried thinking of waterfalls and just about everything that involved water but it didn't help. Im afraid my random UA is coming up and i really don't want to have to wait nearly and hour just to get a few drops out. I have another year of probation so i would love to solve this problem. Does anyone know some really good tips that helped them in this situation?

If you want to spend more money there is a wonderful restaurant called Jezebel''s that is like eating in a southern garden, all the food is southern home cooking. Mars 2101 (?). Please don''t go to Ellen''s Stardust Cafe if it is suggested, I ate there recently and couldn't get the food down. Mind is blocking out with old age, but that Rock & Roll Restaurant just opened a branch on 42nd Street. You could just Google the area and get a load of restaurants to come up. Most of the restaurants aren't great in that area, it's a lot of restaurants catering to people running to make their theater times, so be careful where you end up. Remember curtains go up at 8:00, so better to eat after that.

Trust me, if you want to own a car in Seattle get something small... I lived there for 3 years, and when it comes to parking & whatnot, smaller is better. Maybe try VW Jetta? Everything originated from one small bacterium. How it was created or where it came from, we dont know. The biggest block in the theory is "where did the first cell come from?" And i think there is a slight chance that as long as our planet had water, and all the elements necessary for life, that cell could have been created. Think of all the planets in all of the universe. There's billions and billions of them, and its just like picking marbles out of a bag. Perhaps 3% of all the planets have just the right combination of characteristics so that life will be created, and earth is a part of that 3%. Out of all the trillions of planets, it has to happen right? But who knows, it may have come from another planet or something. Perhaps a comet hit the earth and the cell came with it. Sure we don't have the technology at this point in time to figure this out, but even on Mars, if they are able to prove that there may have been life on Mars, that brings us another step closer into figuring out how the first cell got here.

I would suggest that you just give her some space for awhile. It sounds as though she is having some issues.
