Where are fun places to eat in new york city, anywhere in the midtown area, please help?

There's always ESPN, Jekyll and Hyde, Bubba Gump. If you want to spend more money there is a wonderful restaurant called Jezebel''s that is like eating in a southern garden, all the food is southern home cooking. Mars 2101 (?). Please don''t go to Ellen''s Stardust Cafe if it is suggested, I ate there recently and couldn't get the food down. Mind is blocking out with old age, but that Rock & Roll Restaurant just opened a branch on 42nd Street. You could just Google the area and get a load of restaurants to come up. Most of the restaurants aren't great in that area, it's a lot of restaurants catering to people running to make their theater times, so be careful where you end up. Remember curtains go up at 8:00, so better to eat after that.
