Will this make up for canceling on valentines?

i cancelled valentines w/ this girl i have dated about 5 times. There was a big gap inbetween the last time we saw each other so i figured that she was leading me on and I cancelled. now i'm feeling like i messed up, i really like her and wanna prove to her that i have feeling for her. last time we spoke, we had talked about making a snowman if it snowed enough. it hasnt, but about an hr away theres a ski resort i can take snow from. so ill load it in my SUV and build it infornt of her job with valentines candy as the eyes and then later in the day have someone send flowers, sign them with a little note. what do you think?
