Should I purchase this furniture?

I am moving into a new unfurnished flat with underfloor heating throughout. Therefore, I am having to buy some new furniture and have found something I really like from Furniture Village. It's real acacia wood which is untreated and needs looking after because it's real wood and hand crafted. And the care instructions say that it should be kept away from heat sources. I asked at the shop about how my underfloor heating could affect the wood and they said that it should be fine because my floor has carpet. But I want an unbiased opinion on whether I should get this furniture as it will be costing me over �2,000. The sales guy at the shop will obviously sway me to buy it cuz its making money at the end of the day. Thanks.
