How do you boost the ratings for a show that you like?

All the teen titans fans are loving the fact that teen titans is airing on boomerang and everyone's encouraging eachother to pump up the ratings for the show in hopes that it'll be brought back, but how exactly do the companies get these ratings anyway, do you go to a certain site and tell them or do you have to watch the show to do it? I dont have boomerang so I cant watch it sadly.
