How can you tell if you've been poisened?

for three days now i have been weak and feel like im going to throw up"although i never have yet" im afraid it may have been food that i ate and with this salmonella outbreak and the amount of peanut er i eat"anything peanut er for that matter"i don't know what it could be.any suggestions?
