I don't know what kind of answer you're looking for in R&S. Perhaps back up for you to tell her that gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins? I don't think you need to point out people's sins to them since a) they might not agree that it's sinful, and b) even if they do, they're probably well aware of the fact.
