Where to find a surrogate mother for MYSELF. Not to carry a child FOR me, but rather to be like a mother 2 me?

I am a female mid 30's (living in the St. Louis, MO. area) who has been thru the wringer. I come from a HORRIBLE childhood (as do many) and had a poor excuse for a mother. I experienced everything from physical, emotional and ual abuse at her hands and am just now working through it. What I am looking for is someone to develop a "mother/daughter like" relationship with so that I might know what a true mother/daughter relationship feels like. Is it too late for me to experience this? Maybe someone out there would be willing to share their Mom if they feel she's great. Please no rude answers and only serious remarks. Thanks in advance.
