What do American people have against young adults living at home?

It's because a lot of people use their children and their children's resumes to pat themselves on the back and justify all the years they couldn't be bothered with the little stuff. They see their kids as an extension of themselves and everything they do as a reflection on them. It's sad really. We, here in the states have so many hang ups about what every one else thinks... instead of worrying about what's really important. And it isn't the 50's anymore. Not that some people would know it.
