This is my definition. What is yours?

I'm not a mom, but I want to answer anyway. I'm sorry. I'm sure this gets annoying. Lol. Anyway, I don't really think is necessary. There are other ways to punish a child other than a quick on the bottom. I would rather take away sweets, toys, television, phone, etc. Depending on how old they are, of course. I little slap on hand might be okay though I guess, but not too hard. I have to do that with my little brother sometimes because he just will not listen. A good thing though for kids 7 and under is to sit them in a corner for time out. They will REALLY hate that. If they continue to misbahave after that, give them a another time out, each longer than the last.
