Relationship between Frankenstein and his monster?

They do not have a good relationship at all. The monster is all alone in the world and he wants Frankenstein to acknowledge him which he won't. Frankenstein sees him as a monster just like everybody else. Instead of helping the creature gain some companionship he declines. Frankenstein should be more understanding of the creature and his situation but he's not.
