In FDA standards, are you supose to wash meat before cooking with it?

well according to the FDA yes you are supposed to wash your meat before cooking it at least that is for public restaurant etc. when you do it at home is your personal decision of doing it or not. but it is more sanitized if you do it because you take out the germs that could have got it to it..
