A question about the tv show Toddlers and Tiaras ?

I am watching it on TLC right now and what are these parents thinking ? It's horrible. The dad just said that even before their daughter was born, they new she would be in pageants and she already had a career planned out for her and that's pageant. And all the parents are all frumpy looking. What do you think of it ?
