Is a white dress a good idea?

How about Champagne or Ivory with a boned or corseted bodice with light gold panel inlays.....or burgundy embroidery down along the panels...having panelling on the bodice seems to flatten the stomach, then you won't have to wear nanna undies to hold in your tummy..I know what that's like, having that little bit of tummy weight that just won't budge...hope this helps and good luck!
