Is Suzuki Grand Vitara good and worth buying car?

I'm most concerned about its engine life expectancy. I know they offer pretty good coverage which is 7/100k, but I wish to get any personal opinions and for those of you might know what can go wrong with this car later on i.e transmission etc..
