Is it possible for my 17 yr old friend to live with another friend for awhile without a yes from her parents?

If the friends parents don't care enough to call the police, your 17 year old friend can live anywhere. If the police were to be called, they would take her back to her parents. You are the legal responsibility of your parents until you are 18 years of age. If the girl is truly being abused, then she could call the police and childrens services and they would take her out of the sistuation. Once she turns 18, she will be legally considered an adult. Then, she can go where she wants to live and no one can do anything about it.
