Can someone tell me which bios my motherboard can use?

if you have a manufactured pc, like Dell or HP go to the manufacturers website and look up a bios update for your model pc. you are better off getting a bios update that way as the bios on a manufactured pc is usually designed for that computer and usually won't work on another pc with the same motherboard of a different brand. also you have to be very careful when you upgrade your bios cause you can really fubar your pc if you do it wrong. for the two options you found for bios updates you might want to try contacting biostar via email and see what they recommend, but you definately want to be sure it's the right one and also be sure that you really need to upgrade the bios as it is a risky operation. the best way to look at a bios update is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
