I need help with coming up with a research topic for my college english cl?

It has to be a literary research paper and it is argumentative as well. It means that I can pick from literature, film or music. I can't do it on abortion, capital punishment etc. Our teacher wants us to take our topic and turn it into a question such as ( why indians can't win the world series) thats just an example. If anyone can help me come up with any good books that I can turn into a good topic u get 10 pts!
