How long does Early Labor signs go for?

i was just wondering on average how long does early labor signs go for before you went into labor. i am on my second child but was induced with my first. i have been experiencing them for about the past 3 days and my doctor today said it could happen any moment. yet she didn't check my cervix. and just now i went to use the restroom and has white pasty looking discharge in my undies ( its normal i know) but when i wiped it was a lot of clear shiny stuff on my paper. i have been having Strong braxton hicks and their getting stronger and more frequentby the day.
