I have been issued a summons to appear in court regarding a credit card debt. What do I need to know?

I only make around 700.00 take home at one job and around 400.00 at another. I live in Missouri. How can I keep them from garnishing my wages? The petitioner's are GAMANCHE & MYERS, and CACH LLC
