I am feeling really really down and sad...I'm such a loser...?

You shouldn't be concerned about popularity! As long as you have friends you're close to, it doesn't matter if you guys are 'popular'. Just have some nice friends, and I'm sure you can make some at college. How did you make your elementary school friends? Do relatively the same things to make friends, only on a mature level.
