Would lemon water highlight the hair of black heads? in other words black haired people?

I would like a solution or recipe if you will, to highlight my hair. If nothing naturally will work, then I will use either SUN-IN or HERBAL ESSENCES highlights. I would like it if past people who have tried these things,, leave their comments about either the lemon water, sun-in, and/or the herbal essennces highlighter and tell me your review. THANKS
