Why have I been placed upon this earth? Why has man asked this question throughout history? Why did the chicken cross the road? Why do birds suddenly appear? Why has thou forsaken me? Why? Why does it keep us searching, hoping for a new tomorrow? Why shouldn't there be a reason for all of this? Why can't we all be part of HIS “Great Plan”? Why do you always want anything the moment it's not there? Why even try anymore? Why should you even be reading this? Why not just scream out loud to all the world “WAKE THE F UP! ”? Why shouldn't we all be able to realize what it is to simply feel real? Why was it that, “You could do anything you put your mind to“,...yet here the F I am??? Why would you pretend that you could make it all right simply by digging the whole deeper? Why would you not see that one day I might figure a way to climb back up? Why do I ignore the path that might just take me there? Why have you convinced yourself that adding to your responsibilities you already fail to attend to, will suddenly convince the whole world that you actually intend to grow the F up? Why do I even care? Why, you wouldn't even know me from Adam. Why, oh why, did he swallow the fly? Why the hell am I up so late? Why do I live a lie? Why do people die? Why is this what it sounds like when doves cry? Why can’t I cry? Why must I be the one that stands alone? Why shouldn’t we all see the truth for what it really is? Why I’d even lay my head down on the gauntlet if I’d thought it to be what was right and true and real. Why shouldn’t others do the same?
