What new phone should i get (verizon)?

I am debating between the Samsung Omnia, the BB Storm, and the LG Dare. I don't need the newest design or coolest features necessarily, but i like the touch screen and the sleekness of the aforementioned phones. the problem with the BB and Omnia though are the data plans. Do i NEED them? because they cost a lot for a poor student like me. =D so other ideas are welcome too!
