What is the difference between infiniti M35x and g35x engines?

Do they have the same engine, just more weight on the M and bigger dimensions. I have a M35x, and yes it has decent acceleration but not as much as the M, but both stock i don't think there is that big of a difference. Also what is the difference between M and G engineering, one is sport, and one is more of a luxury car? JW
