What is the best 401k allocation for me in this economic time for a 25 y/o?

Depends what other funds/accounts you have. In this period, it is a great time to buy aggressive when the prices are low.....that is though if you setup other accounts setup to fall back on if this was to happen again. The thing to remember is this, if you simply have a 401(k) and guess wrong with your funds you could very well turn into one of the many retiring individuals today that are experiencing diminished retirement accounts and deciding if they want to work 10 more years till it rebounds or live on a reduced income. I for one would rather have setup a safe account when I was young that I could dip into in tough times while earning the max amount in my 401(k), which would be aggressive.
