What has been your experience with Jehovah's Witnesses - the Watchtower Society, the truth or a crock?

i have to agree with Hate Evil. honestly speaking and i don't mean to slander in any way but i've heard about somethings which makes you wonder. my aunt is studying with J.W.s in another congregation, and the way she talks about them my mom and another J.W. was almost shocked to death. she didn't understand why they behaved that way, and we acted differently. racism and cliques in the organization do exist. i've seen it happen time and time again and there's no denying it. i've heard from other J.W.s about all sorts of things which happen and nothing seems to be done about it. however, within due time everything comes alight. i remember there was an elder who committed adultery, was making advances to his students in the school he taught and no one never knew. a J.W. sister's son told her about it but she ignored him, thinking that he was saying that because the teacher was a J.W. next thing you knew, he wrote a letter disociating himself from the organization. you can't hide facts. facts are facts and some one will bring it our attention and it will ignored. things are dealt with in certain times, but some times it's best dealt with quickly as possible to avoid things like these. yes, there are negatives in the organization as there are positive. most J.W.s know nothing about these things and you only hear it ping and ignore it. but the majority of J.W.s are honest people and are very pleasant. unfortunately, there are J.W.s who are contrary to that and do not uphold the ideal image of a J.W.
