What do you think of the Twilight series?

I really just don't like them at all. The characters are too Mary Sue and one dimensional for my taste and the movie was even worse. I feel bad for Robert, since he will be forever typecast as a sparkly vampire who says cliche lines. The writing was mediocre at best in the book. The way SM portrayed her vampires annoyed me too. She didn't do any research at all. She really didn't do the species justice. The fans are what really killed it. The only ones that are noticed are the annoying fan brats that squeal.
