Please! I need help writing a Thank you Article!?

Last Week, a few friends and I, honored our band director. We gave him a plaque and we made him a big poster. Now, we want to put the picture and a small article in the newspaper.... I just do not know what to write. Please Help!?!?! Thank You So Much!
