People who are very familiar with the Bible: Please help me?

Goliath: "Give me a man to do battle with me. If I prevail, your people will be our servants. If he prevails, we will be your servants." 2.David never trained with weapons nor went to war. But he was a brave young man with tremendous faith in God who will give him the victory over a gigantic problem. Saul lent David his armour and it did not fit him. David's armor is his faith in God 3.Because Jonah hated the yrian Empire. Probably he prayed God to destroy that cruel world power but God wanted to show Jonah that you must "love your enemies".,God knew that these people were an evil godless people who "didn't know their right nor their left hand." Therefore God, in His love and mercy to these unworthy people He commanded Jonah to preach whether he like it or not. He had to obey...yet he didn't. 4.Because he HATED the yrians and he hid from the presence of God and went to a faraway country. A prophet is not supposed to hate his fellow man. 5. The crew wanted to know if something or someone is the cause of this unusual storm that the gods have stirred up. Therefore they "cast lots" to see who is the guilty one. The lot went to Jonah. The crew wanted to know who Jonah was and what has he done to cause the storm. Jonah told them the truth. This caused more fear to the crew and they asked him what must they do to appease God. He told them to throw him overboard and they will see the storm calm down. At first they were reluctant and they prayed to God and tried to row to shore but to no avail. Finally they had no choice but throw Jonah overboard. When Jonah fell, the storm abated. And God sent a great fish to swallow up Jonah and he was three days in the belly of the fish. By a miracle he survived...but I can speculate that the acids in the stomach decomposed his clothes, blanched his skin or made it mottled and he was wrapped in seaweed that in the end of three days the fish puked up Jonah in the shore where perhaps yrian witnesses saw a "god" coming out of the mouth of a fish and they ran from his terrible appearance of doom and told the other fellow yrians that a god is walking towards Niniveh and then great crowds of curious yrians came to hear Jonah tell them that if they do not repent...the yrian Empire will fall in forty days. Jonah explains to the Assyrians that he is not a god but a disobedient man who was commanded by God to preach repentence and God punished Jonah by allowing a fish to swallow him and stay there for three days and he has survived by the hand of God. Therefore God has given him another chance by commanding him to preach the word of God. The Assyrians believed him and it was decreed by the Assyrian king that everybody must repent with fasting and prayer and be covered in sackcloth. This has caused a tremendous revival in the Empire and the Empire lived for another 150 years. I say, if the United States would do what the Assyrians did, she would be once again be the great nation that she once was in the past
