My land lord neglected to tell me that he was coating the floors downstairs?

i live in a 3 apartment home. my landlord polyuerothaned the floors in the apartment below and now it reeks of polyeurothane in my apartment. I have no relatives in the area to stay with and have no money for a hotel. what should i do? i also have a dog and a cat.
