My 1991 Mercedes 300sel failed the emissions with a higher NoX reading?
My Mercedes 300sel failed the emissions for higher Hydrocarbons and Nox. I had the exhaust convertor replaced which dropped the hydrocarbons, but not the Nox reading. This system doesn't have and EGR valve system. What else could cause a higher Nox reading?
