Is this a good opening for a book?

It is grabbing, but I don't know if I would continue. You've got way to many adjectives in just a few sentences. You need to edit (grammatical errors, spelling, punctuation, etc.) before posting so you don't irritate your readers. All in all, it's not bad for an opening paragraph.
