Is an octopus a fish or a sea creature?

It's a sea creature (as in, it is fauna which lives in the sea) which falls under the group of Cephalopod in the order Octopoda. It's closely related to animals like the Squid and the Cuttlefish, and less closely related to Bivalves and other Molluscs.
