Is my turtle preggers?

female turtles can store sperm in their body for months, so it is possible she could be pregnant. but she could also just be digging for the 'fun' of it, or searching for food. You need to have either gravel or sand on the basking area so she can lay her eggs on 'land'. Infertile eggs would be layed in water. but fertile eggs need to be layed on land and buried. Keep a close eye on her and watch out for any eggs. please be prepared by doing research on incubation if the time comes. good luck.
