Ideas for getting rid of a sore on the tongue?

So I have this really annoying sore on my tongue, on the right side, close to my molars. I feel like sometimes my tongue expands and gets imprinted with my teeth, so I guess it just got irritated? Maybes. Anyways, it's getting really annoying and going on the 4th day that I have had this stupid sore. I can't even chew properly with the sore, or else I have a pain. To make things worse I play flute everyday, so I am constantly moving my tongue around to articulate notes. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the sore to go away? TIA! :P˚
