I want to hatch chicken eggs?

First of all a sixty watt bulb in a box is likened to putting a lawn mower engine in car. Sure it can work with a sixty mile tail wind, on flat ground at 59 degrees F and a slight down hill slope. 1) yes. They should be turned a minimum of twice a day. 2) Turn them from one edge to the opposite edge large end up. 3) No. Spraying applies moisture on one side. Humidity should be controlled over the whole air space. 4) There is no such thing as eggs too young. I had a Dominique lay 15 eggs and start to set and the next day she would lay number16. It was not too young and conversely the others were not too old. 5) It takes a very lot of experience to hatch eggs with no incubator and is next to impossible. Even the best home made models are usually difficult to accurately control.
