I have had several dreams about bats - what do they mean?

A while ago I had a dream that there were 3 bats in my bedroom in the morning. They then flew into my kids room, and back to mine. Then last night I had a dream that I saw a bat in my bedroom again, in the day-light. It was joined by a second bat. It crawled up to the top of the wall and then hundreds of small bats came out of the wall flying around my bedroom. It wasn't creepy, just annoying. In my dream I wanted to call an exterminator to kill them but my husband said no, we had to let them out and not kill them. In both dreams the bats were light brown not black. Why the bat dreams?
