How to confront my mother about being molested?

I also was molested by a family member when I was very young. I do remember what happened and I am still scarred by it. My mom sounds a lot like your mom so I haven't told her. I will never tell her because she wouldn't believe me. If you really need closure then you should confront your mother and I hope she does believe you because as you know, it makes you feel horrid when they won't believe you even though you know it happened to you. I also hope that she apologizes to you because you deserve it .
