How do you setup to sell things on Ebay? Is it worth doing just to sell 100 books and a few miscellaneous ite?

I have been donating lots of books, movies, cd's, etc. to local libraries. Now I really need the money and wonder if I should sell them on Ebay. How do I get started? How do I setup, does it cost money to startup? What is hard about it? How do I arrange shipping and what type of shipping should I do for books? Other items? Must you show photos, even of a book? I would probably like to do it if I can average even just a few dollars per book, as I have a hundred or so. Are old vinyl records worth selling ,how do they get shipped? Any info appreciated.
