How do i know if he likes me?

so im 17 and hes 20 and we live two hours away from each other he used to be amish and worked on my friends farm and i met him once there and heard about him and then a month ago i went to dinner with my sister a friend and him in a town between our towns and i am a very shy person in real life and we both didn't say much so it was totally awkward and my sister and her friend dont really like him but i totally do still and we talk almost everyday well we text we havent really talked on the phone at all but i wanna but uh when im textin i say my feelins and hes hot and i like his personality and i told him i like him and i asked him how he felt and he says "i do 4 a lil right now" and that was a month ago and we have gotten in alot more detail and talk about more ual things which i like and i have asked him once or twice since then how he feels and he wont say....what does that mean? and he never texts durin the day its always around 1030....how do i know if he likes me...?
