House of Night confusion?

look ive gotten like half-way through BOOK 4 and towards the begining there was this character stark he gets introduced to us and then dies? i need to know what happens to him i cant read it fast enough. just tell me about him! and Heath? he just walks out..is that right? and just a comment..Nerefet=total *********
