Help with temperature in ball python cages?

For the two heating things, its easy. You get one of those lamp slider things, that adjust how bright the light it, and attach it to your heating lamp/heating pad. You can also get a thermostat, but that's if the temperature seems to fluctuate a lot. If you just put a heating pad on almost off, and a heating lamp on the other side halfway, you should have 80-85 degrees during the day, and you just scale the slides down a little at night. Remember to put thermometers in to check the temperature whenever you feel is necessary (I check morning, when I get home, and right before I go to sleep.)
