Simple, when he bites you stop playing with him. If the biting doesn't really hurt and doesn't draw blood then it's okay. 6 month old cats are still kittens and love to play and run around and be crazy in general so don't get discouraged, he might settle down a bit yet. You can trim your cats nails, that will help them not be so sharp. Scratching boards and posts will help him get any desire to use you as a scratching post our of his system. There is also a plastic cap that can go on you cat's claws that you need to glue on and replace when their claws grow out. But again, if the play get too rough for you stop playing with him until he calms down a bit. Also, I hope he's neutered!
