Greyhound and Cats. Oh Boy.?

I really like Greyhounds as well, and I spoke to an adoption center about the retired ones. To my surprise, they are generally mellow and don't need too much exercise they just like to vegetate. As for having cats, that might be a problem... what kind are they? A Greyhound puppy might be safe for a while but his instincts might take over as an adult. As with Whippets and Borzois, they are sight hounds and are bred to hunt small animals. You might want to look into a Labrador, German Sheppard, Irish Wolfhound, Bernese Mountain Dog or a Pit-bull.
