Gerbil pooping/urinating blood?

i have 3 male gerbils and i noticed that on top of one of their boxes was a turd with about a square inch of blood which was dilated by urine. they are a little over 2 years old. one of them got in a fight about 2 weeks ago and has a dried wound on his tail but not near the . any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
