Does my signature have to be my name?

I want to start signing things with just my first and middle name, because my signature, which currently consists of all three, is very beautiful and ornate, until i get to my last name, which is almost impossible to make look like it goes with the rest(and believe me i have tried, ive been signing the same signature since i was 14 and the last name has never looked good.)
