Christians: Is it wise to be a "Believer" ?

God purposely found pleasure in making the wisdom of this world foolish in comparison to His infinite wisdom. 1 Corinthians 1:21: "For when the world with all its earthly wisdom failed to perceive and recognize and know God by means of its own philosophy, God in His wisdom was pleased through the foolishness of preaching [salvation, procured by Christ and to be had through Him], to save those who believed (who clung to and trusted in and relied on Him)." I would rather have the wisdom of God working in me than that of this world. So is it wise to be a Christian? yes to God, and no to the world. Then what does God say about the wise of this world? 1 Corinthians 3:19-20: "For this world's wisdom is foolishness (absurdity and stupidity) with God, for it is written, He lays hold of the wise in their [own] craftiness; And again, The Lord knows the thoughts and reasonings of the [humanly] wise and recognizes how futile they are." How can I rationalize God? I don't because I can not after God revealing to me His Son turn back to what I was chosen by God to be delivered from. So only faith can prove that God exists and that Jesus is Lord without any doubt. Faith in Christ is a gift from God and since It was given to me I willingly exercise it, yes I trade this short-lived life (natural life) for Eternity with Jesus Christ my Lord and the One who was here before creation and will be after forever.
