ANYONE EVER DELT W/ INFECTION CALLED "C-DIFF"?

I just found out today that my babysitters son has C-Diff. I read online about it and saw that it can be fatal also contagious. I'm very worried, I'm calling the dr. first thing in the morning. Her son is being treated for it now, but he just started his antibotics today. My 21 month old son is taking amoxicillan for his ear infections, has been for about 6 days. Is there anyway that will maybe help him not get it? He's been acting fine and getting back to his normal self again after being sick the past couple months on and off. Has anyone had any experience w/ this infection? If so what happened? 10 points best answer.
