Any ideas on how to be a nurse?

My wife wants to be a nurse. She is having lots of trouble ping the test to get into a college that requires a test before you enter the program. She has looked into other colleges but they have harder requirements than just a test. Any ideas or references you could help with. She has been working in Kidney Dialysis for 12 years. It is her dream to be a nurse. Can you help fulfill this dream? If so you will get best answer.
